Hey guys!
Thanks so much for checking out my blog! It really means a lot to me.
I am in school for journalism (only 2 more classes until I graduate!), so obviously writing is a passion of mine. I also truly enjoy makeup and all things beauty related. I wanted to start writing a beauty blog a long while ago, but never had the confidence to do so. I always thought 'Why would anyone want to read my blog?! I'm not a professional makeup artist. There are so many other beauty bloggers out there that are super popular, what do I have to add to the beauty world that could possibly be different from what they've already said?!'. Well, I tossed around the idea of me starting a blog on a Facebook group called Beauty Broadcast (created by the lovely, Emily Noel), and I got such positive feedback and amazing support, that I decided to start my very own all-things beauty blog!!
Of course I was nervous at first, I didn't think I would get any subscribers. I thought the only people who would 'read' my blog would be family and close friends. Well, let's fast forward to today, February 27, 2012 -- I have several blog posts, 58 subscribers and over 4,000 views!! I am SO proud of myself for actually having the courage to finally start something that I wanted to do. It has become such a fun experience and I am enjoying every minute of this project!
If I can help one girl feel beautiful or learn a new tip, trick or look than this will all be work it, ten times over! I believe every single person is beautiful and deserves to feel beautiful on the inside as well as the outside!
